If you dont like what is being discussed shut the hell up and go to the next topic. You dont have to tell everyone how stupid they are. It seems that you have a history of doing this. I guarantee that you are not the only one on here that knows anything. There are alot of people here that are just looking for some help or some ideas. That is what discussion forums are about.

Damn, I must've searched for every different 'ring' combination I could think of, but never oil retainer ring - it's obvious now that I know - doh. In all the axle rebuild threads I read, I never saw it mentioned - I must be one of the lucky ones that somehow got a torn up one. Thanks much,

    Hey dirtchicken

I just posted a question about a damaged ring inside my front axle - you told me to delete it, because it was obviously a dumb question. Only problem is, I did search before posting, and I'm still searching, and haven't had any luck yet. Normally I'm halfway decent at the search feature, and haven't had to ask too many newb questions so far, but I haven't had any luck on this one. I'm going to keep trying, and if I can't get it, I'll drive across town to see if I can find the part name in the manual. But, if I atleast knew a part name, I could probably find it searching, and life would be swell... can you at least give this newb a part name, to help with the searching? Thanks,
