I saw a pic of your jeep from an old post and really liked it. Is there a buid thread for it? If not could you give me some specs on the wheelbase, leaf springs you used and where you hung them? Thanks, Jon.

Hey Dookie, what do you know about rod ends? I want to fab a rear triangulated four link and want to snag some Ruff Stuff specials going on. Check 'em out:

Use those 7/8 REs on the lowers with a Ballistic Joint or simple bushing at the axle. Then for uppers use the Ruff Stuff 3/4 REs with more Ballistic Joints or simple bushings at the axle. What do you think?

Yeah Im with ya on the small ball joints but I guess as cheap as they are it cant be too bad. I think with 37s it would be ok. Are you wanting to do a on the cheap hydro assist? Maybe tap you box?

I have been considering doing that for a frontend for my rig. Using the Currie TJ 9" with the 30 inner C's and use Reid Racing 30/44 hybrid outer knuckles. I also figure that a Currie HP 9" centersection will be fine even if they are 8.8 gears. I want to bump up to 37s but by doing this I can keep my D44 rear for the time being and still run my Currie steering to save coin. What do you think?

Hey mudsucker! Tell me more about that front 9" axle you have. What housing, gears, is it a HP from Currie, locker, spline etc. Did it come with your rig or you build/buy it?

Sonofabitch! How much did that set you back? I picked up my TJ for $4500 with a rebuilt title and a HP30 ready to go in :emb: I'm still running the stock drivetrain with the D35 though so HAH! :flipoff2: Damn rich people with their bigass budgets :p

Start building!! you can't use 406YJs jeep as an excuse not to start yours now! so get to it! although your jeep will be built, sold, and you will have a new project before i even think about completely finishing mine... :(
