Ya, they are about that maybe I'm over thinking it !
Do you have any pics of either roll ?
As for the hood, I thought I'd at least pound it out and make an effort but nothing pretty!
    I'll keep you up dated

    hey mike

as for the limiting straps being to long - as long as they are tight before the shocks droop all the way ( say within a 1/2" ) they are fine. we use the winches to adjust the rest as we drive. i think we rolled the second day becasue it was just a little more off camber than we both though. ive looked at a bunch of pics of the line, in pics of us and the other guys - we needed to be more 90 deg to the face. even on the lower section - where we landed, it must have been a 10-15 deg slope. add the down hill with the front climbing on the high side and well..... floppy

twin sticks would be helpfull. you also know if you fix the hood you will curse it. wish i lived closer and id come over and help. i cant wait. see you next month. also my home # has changed 530 472 3475 - i had issues with my DSL and i couldnt keep my old number for some reason.

    Whats up !
so i 've taken a few weeks off to get some real work done and i'm about to tackle the twin sticks. along with relocating the power steering res. and pounding out the hood.
Question ? I was trying to figure out why we rolled last time and the only thing i can think of is that my limit straps were to long 17", i have another set that are 14" that i put back on for Oroville but im not sure if that will be too short. I put her on the fork lift
to flex out and this are what i got
with 17", the rear was able to go 37" before the front came off the ground and still never fully compressed the rear springs
with 14", she was able to go 46", lifted the other tire off the ground and still seemed stable on the fronts. Sounds like a no brainer but wanted to get your thoughts this will mean less droop for the fronts
