Hey gtxracer,
You would be looking at $9980 for our DHC2
We do not sell longevity cutter parts. However you can run both the handheld or machine torch on our system.
The mileage on the C10 is weird.. The gas doesn't seem to last that long.. I think it might have to do with how the behind the seat tank is shaped.. I've never measured but I don't think it's very good..
I wheeled last month but havent got any plans currently. I just bought a tow rig and Ive been just doing small cosmetic stuff on it. Look in the tow rig thread. I am not sure what I'll do next I want to focus on paying stuff off then get a house. Hows about you whats new?
I remeber that article I think I may even still have it laying around. Id like to see that stuff in person so I have a good idea of how well it covers, I like those hoods.
Got my skid in today. Its painted up and ready to go in. Hopefully I can make my stock muffler work at least for now. I am looking at getting something like a Hushpower or Dynomax bullet series muffler.
What kind of shape are those inner Cs in? Makes sure if they can get you a picture of the kingpin taken out so your not getting some old rusty waddled out shit.
Well let me ask ya...if you get that skid other than it being a skid what is it about it that you want? I mean can you attach arms you have to it? Are you wanting to attach arms to it etc or are you mainly looking at it as a skid that you can buy thats better than stock and will be a flatter skid? In others words if your only getting it because its a skid and not a building point then I wouldnt be in a hurry to get one. Id just wait and either build my own or work out your suspension that you want first and if you dont want to build a skid or have time then you can always buy a Romken flat skid for thirty bucks cheaper any day of the week and twice on Sunday. http://www.rokmen.com/products/skid_plates/97-02_tj_belly_skid/tj_belly_skid.html
Yeah what you do is you crack the bleeder open about 1/8-1/4 turn pump the brakes I do it three times. Everytime you pump the brake the checkball releases the fluid/air in the lines then when you release the brake it closes up preventing air from getting back into the line. Works fawking awesome. Then you just snug up the bleeders and your good to go.
Yeah they work great. Its so easy to bleed your brakes with them. I take an empty gatoraide bottle drill a hole in the cap, run a small tube into it and the other end on the bleeder...boom your done.
Just put a wrench on your bleeder valve and whatever size wrench is the size you need to order. Least thats how it was when I got em about 5 years ago.
If nothing else you can run some spacers up front to either keep the width the same or get the front a bit wider which is actually helpful with turning radius and such.
