Hey Ian got a couple questions for ya if you could help out since my Jeep Techs in the area are clueless. I have a 2001 Jeep TJ 4L with a manual NV3550 transmission. My shifter has become sticky trying to down shift from all gears. People says its my detent plunger. They said I should do a kerosene flush in my transmission. Question 1 have you ever heard of this and is it safe? Question 2 is what fluid I should use out of Mopar NV manual transmission lubricant or NV T350 transaxle lubricant? I've tried Pennzoil synchromesh, Amsoil, and now on RP synchromax and all make my transmission shift funny. Forum guys tells me to do a kerosene flush, grease the detent plunger then put mopar fluid in. Need your help. Thanks
Hello Ian, If you are interested in a cool new jeep top idea I have one. I have contacted a few "top" makers and they don't want to hear about it. I have tested the prototype and it seems to work and there is nothing like it on the market. I'm not trying to sell the idea just trying to get it out there, and you might have the ability to contact more people that would know how to manufacture one. Let me know if you are interested. ian......what are the chances you could do a segment on 14 bolt rear disc swap with e-brake? what works, what dont... etc. this would keep the flaming to a minimum. thanks.....oh. and visit the yellowbullet a little more lol
Re-resurrect the ranger! Brought a tear to my eye seeing that beast go down that way. But this f150 raptor killer build sounds awesome! Long travel stuff is my thing! Either way love the show and keep up the great work Ian and the crew. Cheers from SC!
Ian, Just want to say Hi. My 2 boys and I watch you every weekend even re-runs, we learn something every time and really enjoy all the info. We are avid wheelers with a Sami based buggy here in Oregon. Keep up the good work and thanks again.
