No separate thread on the rear axle. Also, it is a Dana 60 center section, not a 14 bolt. I bought the housing already centered with inner C's welded on. The custom length inner axles are really the only difference between my rearsteer axle and a normal front end build. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have, and can even post additional pictures in my thread if that would help clear anything up for you. Just let me know.
