Lance, I want to post this set of questions in "axles" forum but the system will not let me post.

2003 E350 4X4 with Dana 60s front and rear (stock Ford 4:10s rear Dynatrac 4:10s front).

In March of 2011 I had my rear diferential rebuilt by a shop in Las Vegas. The original ring and pinion lasted 140,000 miles. Followed break in instructions. Drove almost exclusivly on pavement for the past 11 months. Only one trip was on dirt and that was a well maintained county road. No aggressive wheeling.

Three days ago I began to hear rumblings in the drive train. I decided to take it to a differential shop. The mechanic here in Tucson said that some of the teeth on the ring gear had broken off.

Questions: How many of you have broken teeth on a rear diff ring gear on a Dana 60?

Original factory gears or had it been rebuilt?

After how many miles?

If it was after a rebuild, was the replacement ring gear and pinion a Dana set or an after market kit?

Hello i got a question im new here and want to follow the rules and i read somewhere that if we want to post events we have to have a yellow star / vendor something or other or be a club, does this also mean if say i wanted to start a bi-weekly meet thread or general meet & events thread for members to meet up at in the regional northern California section do i also need anything special for that
