Thanks, and yea they are mostly all the same as far as what i have seen. ORD actually ends up moving the front axle forward an inch for better wheel clearance. And yea aside from some rust the axles were fine, it was all surface crap that will wire wheel right off. Also forgot to thank you about the sm465 info you gave me. I bought one from novak conversions tailor made for my rig. I had trouble finding any locally with a 32 spline out to TC. So in the end im right where I want to be aside from motor work but that can wait. Once I start building in the coming week ill add a post and send you a link so you can see my progress. Tell Dustin thanks for me if hes that close lol. ttyl

Hey Matt, i recently purchased a set of axles off of a cat named Dustin from your area, he said he knew you. The axles were a d44 front with driver side drop high pinion from a 79 ford and the rear is a d60 from a newer ford. He insists they are both 4:10 gears. I am ready to put them in my truck now (finally have the money saved) and I wanted to pick your brain about what kit I should buy. I have read around everywhere and everyone says to fab them yourself which I would do if I had my own welder and cutting tools. So im going bolt on. ORU, Sky, ORD(design), and ORD(direct) are about the only places I have found for this kit. Do you know of any others or could you recommend one in particular? Any advice on this would be of great help.

    Thanks,

    Gordon
