Looking thru the post about your SAS on the D max, who cad software did you or do you currently use to be able to import the whole axle and truck information? I have looked and can't find anything that will allow me to do that. I can import nuts bolts eat but not whole suspensions systems and vehicles.
I own a 2014 Silverado looking to do a swap here in the coming months but would love to be able to draw up my truck like that. I am machinist and can make many parts myself. Drawing every little piece then making it an assy seems to be very time consuming for me lol

    Hello Tim,
I am a cold form tool design engineer and a hobby machinist is my free time. As of lately I have been starting a new project. All over the internet there are 1/4 scale running v8 gasoline engines. But I have not yet seen a diesel engine. Being a cummins owner, I have decided to model a CAD 12 valve cummins, 98 p pump, and then I will work on machining it all out and make a 1/4 scale 12 valve cummins. I have built every cummins I have so I dont have very many parts laying around to follow so I have been working mostly off of info and dimensions gathered on the internet. And thats when I came across the 12 valve model you posted quite awhile ago. I was wondering if you would be interested in sharing your model. That would save me a lot of time.
    Thanks,
    Austin

    Hello there Tim,
I have some strange questions for you I guess. I saw your suburban SolidWorks design and was rather intrigued by it. I looked into the program and think it is amazing. Do you use it for work or is it just hobby? I could see myself getting into this program and using along side Bend-Tech and possibly even CAD. I love fabrication and I am in fact even going to attend WyoTech's chassis fabrication classes next year.

Sorry for the strange inquiry and thank you in advance for what ever light you can help me shed on this program.
