404.1 ruff Expedition Vehicle. 12.5 tires, 1984 era Mercedes 317A 3liter turbo diesel transplant. Mechanicals all restored.

Eric Having fun in a mostly stock 1989 U1150L (Unimog 417). 16 speed gear box, 6l 130HP OM366,
405/70R20 Conti AC70G ag tires. Highway legal,

The winch is a PTO driven Werner F64. It's rated to about 20,000 lbs, but can pull almost twice that. Line speed at full load up to 40M/min (compare to a Warn HS9500i, with 2M/min).

the red one is a 1974 404.0 it has the higher output M130 from the factory. This is a Fire Truck

the green one is a 1984 407 it has a 4cyl diesel 16spds fwd 8 rev
