what model is this? looks like its a 406, but what designation? i love this mog, it would be the ultimate machine for me. i would sell every other vehicle i had!

I beleave it is a 416 troop carrier (U1100? )

Im still trying to learn to identify all the Mogs and understand the nomenclature.

i have never really been that keen on 404s.

You better call him. He is a busy dude. Does not go thru email all the time. Tell him I said Hi btw.

ohhhhhhh and the 404.0 has nearly the same identical cab but hard topped... sWEEEEEEETTTT.

i will not call him, as i cant buy one right now (NO $$$) i am more just researching what i will buy when i can afford it

Good points. He is by appointment only I think so u cant just drive by either though.

Well do call him. He is part of a 4x4 club and wheels his Mog. I think their are a few other Mogs in the club. Find out when they are wheeling again and join in. Also their is a Mog gothering in NJ comming up too.

9V definately give Chris a call. He is a great guy. He is the "head" of NEMAC which is a mog based club for the northeast. He is a good guy just WAY too busy.

Thats a good looking FOP on it too. Follows the lines good.

In Unimog speak FOP= Fall on Protection
ROP= Roll over Progection

That's a forestry Unimog modified by the Werner Corporation in Germany. It has two mid chassis winches, one for rear and the other for side pulling. The large anchor in the rear is just that, an anchor. The one in the photo has a Werner F 64 PTO driven front winch as well. Good call Geo on the FOP.

This type of Unimog comes up for sale in Germany periodically, but as one might imagine, the body panels are totally rearranged.

my fav Mog is a 4 door "club cab"

ultra short wheelbase flatbed

have no clue on it's designation/model name but DAMN was it cool looking!

I swear it's wheelbase was not much more than my Samurai

sigh. I would love one of those if I was in different circumstances
