ok....... I have windows XP. After this screen saver failed to download several times (slow connect 50sh baud) I finally got it downloaded

one....Where do I unzip the files to so it shows to be in the list of screen savers to select.

two... is this all I need to do?

any help would be appreciated

Just download the file. Then double click the file and it runs a winzip self exractor. Select a empty file to extract to, by clicking browse, then select unzip. Once its done extracting, open the file you extracted to and double click the setup.exe file.
Once its done loading, then right click on your open desktop and select properties, then click the screen saver tab, select the Unimog screen save and apply.

When I first did the unzip I did not see the box to select where I wanted to send the unzip too so I did not know where the hell it went when it was done. I see now it went to a temp location.

Ill do unzip again in a file folder I specify.

well so far this still is not working.

I did the unzip in a file folder in MY PICTURES and then ran the install. After running the install program it says that the s.saver was installed, and is selectable from the Display/ S.saver list but its not on the list. I have installed several times and same results. Have closed down and rebooted too; still no mog screen saver.

Any other thoughts?

I just did what Cruiserrg said and it worked fine. If you cant get it open dont worry you arnt missing much

redownloaded it. Unzipped it in a file folder all by itself in C drive and then ran the install.

It still does not change my list of choices for selectable screen savers. What is the name that shows up in this list after running install?

I have Win XP PRO

In my drop down list it says "Unimog screen saver", I am running win98se.

I would bet that whoever wrote the screen saver didn't code it for win2000/xp.
