mog questions

I would like to purchase a Unimog in the next year. I want to use it for towing my 84 CJ 7, camping and as a daily driver. Something in the $20,000 to $25,000. Any suggestions? Preferrably a 4 door hard top. I live in Oregon

Of course, for that price, you realize you're going to be towing at 50 MPH, right ?

Buy that big bobbed duce from 100 dollarman. It would do more and you could make a moterhome out of it.

Sounds like you need a good, domestic 3/4 ton truck. Any kind of decent Mog will outclass the CJ on the trails, and doesn't make much sense for a tow rig.

I'll second that. You'd need to a least triple your budget to get what you're talking about.

I've kicked around the idea of selling mine. '86 Doka, fast axles and "high output" engine( 125 hp). I agree though, wouldn't be the fastest tow vehicle, coolest maybe.
