RALLY NATIONS WEBSITE
FIRST PRIZE IS $50,000 USD!

2009 Rally of Nations For 2009 Corona Rally Mexico will run as usual as one of the fastest, highest and more compact international rally for the drivers’ delight and challenge to write their names next to the previous winners. Besides they will also score points for their country in the Rally of Nations. Each country’s team of 2 cars will be awarded both drivers’ points given according to their stage position. This will allow to accumulate positive points for the driver’s and for the country’s title as well as to maintain the interest throughout the event. The idea of this event is to bring the emotional side of the Olympic games or the world cup to the automobile world with the possibility of several teams per country. The organizing committee has set a program to contribute for teams’ freight costs to Mexico and back as well as import and logistics costs. The Rally of Nations is set to become one of Mexico’s rallying highlights for the years to come. A total price purse of $75,000 USD will be awarded: - $ 500.00 USD to the winning Crew per stage won. - $ 5,000.00 USD to the winning Team for each day. - $ 50,000.00 USD to the winning Team of Rally of Nations CLICK HERE FOR LIVE RESULTS http://www.rallyofnations.com/result/frm_result.html CLICK HERE FOR PRESENTATION FOOTAGE YouTube - Rally of Nations Mexico 2009 Guanajuato 1 BEAUTY OF PLANET GTOROCKS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHR-N...eature=related ![]()

Mexico Championship Rally - Rally 24 Hours 1) Rodrigo Ordoñez 3:22:06.9 2) Guillermo Sanchez 3:47:32.2 3) Pablo Gutierrez 3:47.32.3 4) Guillermo Fonseca 3:55:05.6 5) Juan Manuel Lazcano 4:07.43.3 6) Luis Orduña Jr 4:09:54.5 Only 6 cars finished in the Rally 24 hours. The retired cars were from Rafael Boy, Fernando Vivanco, Victor Perez, Sergio Gonzalez JR, Gabriel Marin Jr., Luis Miguel Abascal, Raul de Alcazar, Jorge Gonzalez ![]() $74,000 USD Pretty crazy but true! This is the first time this $ and points concept was presented in mexico and I know it will help bring more top teams from all over the world to future WRC and Rally Nations events. Due to the craziness of the swine flu and current crisis our sponsors were not able to help out so we could race this one and represent the colonial city of guanajuato, which is the host of the presentation and the highests course stages, this year they only included one wrc from out city, not sure why Here is more on that: YouTube - WRC Technical - Altitude vs Engine Power We will be there for sure to race our second rally for WRC Mexico 2010 in March 3-5. It was great to see USA come down for this one and represent, the last time was when Travis and Block raced was WRC Mexico 2007. This time they placed 8th out of the 13 countries racing.
