MOROC at Spring Creek Offroad was a blast! Special thanx from GTOROCKS RACING TEAM
AMIGOS,
Headed out early yesterday after a wild saturday night with all the MOROC teams and Spring Creek Offroad staff and freinds. We are making a quick pit stop in Laredo, Texas and then headed back home to PLANET GTOROCKS®, Guanajuato Mexico to get ready for the Rally Nations 2009 race. Our arrival at Tech was very welcoming and we passed tech with flying colors. Thanx Carl. All the teams were really cool and we all had a great time and some cold ass tecates. First ones to come say hello were Louie and Heath from the Balls Out Racing team. Nathan's family greeted us and gave us our racing kit which included a cool t-shirt and decals. It felt like the WRC Mexico as kids approached us to autograph their shirts. Also were greeted by the Spring Creek Owners Angie and Roland. Thanx for making us feel like rock stars! Then we were off the the famous Spring Creek Offroad park were we quickly set up camp and began the pre-bongo party soon it was 4am and had to get some shut eye. The weather was perfect for race day, but the courses looked nasty Especially for our modified bronco with that twin beam in the front. We managed to attempt all the gates and took 3rd place. Total CARNAGE suffered included some body damage were broken front right u joint, twisted up pretzel looking drive shaft, and a faulty starter. I would like to thank the Spring Creek Offroad rescue staff for their help getting us out quickly. Gracas Roland and Jesse Rodriguez, and backhole kid. The toyota rig guy that helped us out at the end. Even after all carnage we managed to drive the bronco back to camp. Then it was BONGO party time! CONGRATS TO ALL THE MOROC TEAMS AND VOLUNTEERS. IN CONCLUSION THE OFFROAD RACING ACTION WAS A BLAST! AND THE FOLKS, FANS, STAFF and TEAMS were all 110% from the heart. Another story to add on to our list of adventures. SPECIAL THANX TO THE FOLLOWING: John Depain, ULISES el Cubano, Guadalupe Despain of DESPAN AUTOMOTIVE Nathan Davis and Family (For Allowing us to race. YOU GUYS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB!) Angie and Roland and family (Hope your kid likes the Shannon Campbell shirt) Louie Heath Catron of Ballzout Motorsports (Congrats on that second place! Wear that Tecate shirt with pride and dont ever let the Bongo party end!) Robert Brim from Branson's TV (Hope you liked the amazon gear cap) Dennis Silva II from Laredo Morning Times Doug Robinson from Pro 8 News Sports of Laredo Texas. Buddy and Jody (Great jumping all day long) Will never forget the Frank the tank disply by Jody while chugging a Tecate Beer! Wyatt and the 555 racing team (you put on great show) John and el Muneco Jesse and Alex Rodriguez (Always use that helmet, bavaclava, and gloves I gave you all the time, they are magical) WATCH OUT FOR THIS KID, see next year Alex at the king of the creek event. Mark Hall from Coastal Photos Todd & Deborah Todd Smith Virgina (thanx for driving us for that midnight beer run and taking pics) Stephanie The Gulf Coast Crawl Shop guys Javier y Marcus Ibarra (Thanx for lending us thaqt neck brace) Marcus that jump was beautiful, see you in mexico in dec. Jason Armstrong Mike Foster Joel Withers Veronica Comley Matt alias here Job Nasty, Sarah and family Billy Ramirez Carlos Bengas and team Scarface from Honduras (congrats on that first place) Big Bronco Jeff Smokey James and Jaime Green The Banana Johnny Despain for allowing me to race his rig. My girlfriend and my parents for all their support. Waldo Castellanos for lending us the grim reaper trailer that once again surprised us with a blown tire ![]() Tecate Beer Noe y Jorge Campos AND THE MAGICAL MEZCAL THAT KEPT THE BONGO PARTY GOING STRONG ALL WEEKEND Tobasco Sauce North Star Motorsports If I missed out anyone I apologize, there were so many people that at times I got lost. See you fellas in 2010! THANX AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING! TUSEN TAKK TIL DERE ALLE!
