20kw Gas turbine powered military generator TRADE (hayward. CA)

was thinking about using the engine in a old flat fender jeep project and running a hydrostatic pump off of it as others have done but have way to many projects lately. Interested in all kinds of trades from guns to tools to toyota parts, good running 22re, coilovers, tools, honda generator, dirtbikes, atvs you name it i'll consider it. i value the generator at $1200.00 USD cash offers are welcome aswell. Know somebody who just might have to have it? e-mail your buddy a link to my listing and if he buys it i'll send you a case of beer of your choice

Generator is complete (minus the gas cap) and has a recently overhauled 24V starter. The engine will spin up with ease but will not light off. This engine was running 2 years ago so i know its a runner. I believe it will not light off due to a faulty ignitor box (common for these engines of this vintage) These are still available from a comapany called http://www.avonaero.com/index.html he quoted me 250 dollars for a new igniter box. or there are ways to covert the igniter box to a HID automotive style as well. It is a project and i was never able to verify that the generator portion is still working. But it is all there. call 7O7 48O 8695 or e-mail if interested. I am willing to ship as well but this generator weighs around 550 pounds so it will most likely be very expensive. may be willing to work out a deal if all you want is the motor but price will go up since i will have to remove it. Heres a link to my first startup attempt with this engine garret gtp30-67 emu12/e troubleshooting - YouTube
it is currently located at hayward executive airport heres some links to others projects using this engine

Looks to be similar to the A/M32A-60s that we use now a days. I can hear them going inside my office which is about 1/4 mile from the flightline.

I'm a aircraft mechanic by trade and honestly I have come to hate the sound of APU's screaming next to me all day while I work. But the sound a jet engine makes as it starts is such a sweet harmony of metal and fuel that it always seems to put a smile on my face.
