steering reservoir with filter

these are high quality reservoirs with baffle, filter, and a good sealing cap. mounts to flat bracket with your choice of bolts, drilled where you want.

comes with filter and AN fittings. uses PH8A or HP3 (shorter) replacement filters

$85 each plus flat rate shipping.
$60 each for standard tank (no filter).

i also have radiator over flows that look just like these, but no filter obviously, and a vent tube inside that doubles as an overflow for the overflow. those are $60 each plus shipping. see pics on the next page of this thread.

Cool. Do you have the overall height with filter on? Also is there enough capacity to run f/r single ended 3"x10" rams?

13 overall, 4" diameter.

it's a good sized tank, but with both of those rams collapesd i think your fluid will be right up at the cap, while down towards the filter extended. you would also need to drill the cap and add a breather to allow for all that expansion.

you probably need a 3 quart tank for all that fluid displacement.

Lol it's less then you think. It only displaces the amount of the shaft. So 1.5 x 10 ish. This reservoir isn't vented?

Ya but even front and rear isn't much when it's just the displacement of the rod. Once I'm closer to this point I'm hoping to order some stuff from you if it'll work for my setup. The lack of vent seems odd. That means the system could be under pressure or vacuum depending how it was setup.

i've ran several different hydro assist and full hydro set ups and none of my reservoirs (which came from popular suppliers for rock crawling) ever had vents. never had an issue.

but like i said, it takes a minute or 2 to drill a hole and install a fiting and hose.

they dont come that way, but i'll check this week to see what it takes to drill & tap them for it. if i can do it, it should be $10 extra. otherwise, are you guys opposed to running a T-fitting on the inlet? not sure if that would affect the flow or not.
