Lance,
Well being in the MidWest, our seats see all the seasons and I have to say we are extremely happy with them. My only initial worry was possibly fading in the sun for the black ones....but so far so good. The one neat thing in a TJ with them is you sit slightly higher, which helps the view and I am thankfull for the extra legroom.

Ben,
The Baja Ultra SS is the big brother to the Baja SS. The Baja Ultra has a 4" higher back and is 1" wider, giving you added support and it really helps the tall guys. The head rest on the ultra is better for me because I am over 6' tall. Standard on both versions include: powder-coated steel frame, reinforced nylon inner liner laced with military-grade suspension cords, integrated full-body support and 5-point harness capability. The Baja Ultra SS is designed to fit up to a 36-38" waist. The W-I-D-E version is 1" wider and will fit up to a 40-42" waist. As far as mounting brackets, that depends on your intended use and how comfortable you feel fabbing something as critical as seat mounts. Feel free to PM or call with your application and needs and I will tell you what it would cost.

I ran my Baja's all last summer. I don't have a top on my heep, so they have seen all the elements. I use a shop vac on them after trail rides, then scrub them with a soft brush and water. The cloth has really held up great and the seats still look like new.
The Baja ultras have two upper seat belt pass throughs, while the Baja's only have one. BTW |

I have a set that look like they are from the early 80's (maybe a different manufacturer but are made exactly like these) and have seen who-knows-what, they have seen some serious exposure since I've had them, and have help up great. I can't justify buying a new set in fact!

Will any of these seats bolt directly to a YJ seat frame? I just put in cage mounts yesterday and drilled them to fit the YJ sliders at an angle that's comfortable with the stock seats.

Can I get a better measurement on the back height on the Corbeau Baja seat? Corbeau list the dimension as 30" tall, but where is that from? Or better yet, what are the following measurements:
from the top of the seat bottom to the shoulder belt opening? from the top of the seat bottom to the top of the head rest? Thanks! Jim
