Questions:
1) Are you just announcing the product, or are you also offering a PBB discount? 2) Would you be able to make a set with all flush mount bolts (like you did for the two bottom bolts for the 'vise')? I have Avalanche corners and would like something that matches...they don't offer their rockers with the extra 'nerf'. 3) Would you be able to make a set for a CJ-8 without the cut-out at the front for the lip on the CJ fenders? I have YJ fenders on mine. Thanks

Jeepskate:
10% off for PBB members $25 for Stainless flush bolts down the side. Is the CJ8 tub the same as a CJ7 b/t the wheel wells? Are the body mounts in the same location? If so, I can do it? If not it will require a little investigation. JeremyH: Shooting for the same price point on the TJ as the CJ. TJ will be ready in about 4weeks.

The CJ-8 tub is 10" longer between the wheelwells.
Yes, the body mounts are in the same locations (as a matter of fact, my tub is a graft of the original rear half & the front half of a YJ). I have both vehicles (a CJ-7 and a CJ-8), so I can give you a full set of measurement differences at any point...shouldn't be any more involved than the extra 10" of length on the rocker, leaving out the notch for the fender lip, and a few extra inches of length on the tube. I realize that this, of course, adds to the cost.

I got it, sorry, I've been swamped. I'll work with you on the custom sliders though. Check your email.

OK, here is a teaser of the TJ prototype. Crappy pic but better pics and info will be available next week. The design is done so they will be ready for orders in a week.

Started stripping the CJ-7 yesterday, so I should be ready for the rockers right around the time they're due to arrive.

TJ price is the same, $298.
They ship with two supports like the CJ. This guy just wanted one. It would actually cost about $40 more to remove the logo bec. I'd have to do a single unit run with the laser cutter, but it could be done.

Here are some pics of the underneath of the TJ.
This shows the middle support bolts and the rear ones: This shows the front and the middle. The thee large bolt heads you see are where he tied his cage into the sliders. If you do not have a cage to tie into them, you would utilize the two holes you can just barely see which have nothing in them. The large hole lines up with the drain hole in the floor board. The sliders sit flush on the reinforced members on the bottom of the Jeep and the entire bottom is covered. There are six bolts going from the bottom up through these reinforced sections of the floor with large backing plates on the inside of the floor. This is critical. If you take a big hit on the tube, the sliders will try to rotate into the body unless the bottom is mounted in a very strong manner like this. The tube is very useful, but it necessitates a much stronger mounting system than sliders w/o it. The tube is 1.75" x .156 wall DOM....BEEF!

Did you get my e-mail? Was just checking on the progress on my rockers...no rush, just seeing how it was going.

Is there a bit that I can buy (and what would I be looking for) for my drill or drill press for making those tapered holes for the flush mount hardware? Thinking I may get OYR panels instead of Poison Spyder for the CJ-7 and need a backup if Dan at OYR won't do the flush mount hardware. Thanks.

Is this question for me? You lost me here since you ordered CJ7 sliders from me.
If you need another set w/o the tube, we can do that. Jim

Yes, the question was for you. On the sliders I ordered from you, I requested all flush-mount hardware to match Poison Spyder's corners. I may go with OYR's corners instead and would need to be able to ream the holes to accept matching flush mount hardware if Dan doesn't offer it as an option, plus I may cut my own lower tailgate panel. I figured you might be able to point me in the right direction for what bit I would need to buy in order to create the proper taper. Thanks.
