***Bender/Die Set/Notcher/Bending Software Combo Deal***

On our never ending quest to find the coolest, most cutting edge products, we are now offering M-TECH SUPPLY fabrication tools & equipment for the DIY'er.

To start out our latest line of product we are offering a introductory combo deal which includes:
-"NEW" NE5 model bender (with degree ring)
-TN-100 tubing notcher
-180 degree (1 3/4, 5.5" CLR) die
-"Bend-Tech EZ Software" package

All this for $875.00 shipped to your door.
VISA/MC accepted 805-234-1760

Now to answer a few questions that I am sure will rise up here shortly.

Q: What makes the NE5 bender better than any other (similar style) bender out there?
A: EASY OPERATION & USER FRIENDLY!!!
The NEW MODEL NE5 Bender offers the replacable bronze bushing that holds the bender together during die changes. This is an user friendly feature for those who do frequent die changes. No more trying to balance holding the bender together while trying to aline the pin and the 2" 60lb die at the same time. The NE5 also uses a high leverage ratchet assembly to allow operator to bend large sizes of tubing without assistance. The average fabricator is able to bend mild steel tubing such as 1 3/4" O.D. X .095 wall thickness easily by hand. Average completion of a bend is 30-60 seconds, depending on the tube size.

GRADE 50 STEEL CONSTRUCTION !!!
Designed with the Grade 50 steel, built to last. Parts are CNC plasma cut. Center Point for Bender is sleeved with replacable oil impregnated bronze bushing that holds the bender swing arm on the bender. Dies are CNC machined from solid steel billets and carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage.

HIGHLY ACCURATE !!!
With the degree ring as shown in the pictures, accurate bending is simply a matter of marking the end of your die, or welding a simple set sleeve to the end, and watching the degree of the bend you desired is reached. No more scrap tubing because of misbends.

HYDRAULICS OPTIONAL!!!
The model ne5 has available the optional hydraulic kit for bending a large number of bends or for very tough tubing.

PICS............

Notcher...

Q: What makes the TN-100 btter than any other nother (similar in style) available today?
A: LARGE CAPACITY!!!
The TN-100 notches 3/4" through 2" O.D. tubing at angles up to 50 degrees in under 15 seconds.

EASY TO USE!!!
The TN-100 may be mounted in a drill press or simply clamped in a vise and used with a 1/2" hand drill. The 1/2" hand drill setup is by far the best in our opinion. In this way the TN-100 can be laid horizontal and when notching 45 degree angles the floor will not interfere with the tubing being notched. Also, since the hand drill is fed in horizontally, the drill’s weight doesn’t try to force the hole saw in too fast.

HEAVY DUTY FRAME!!!
Entirely CNC machined, the frame is made from 1/2" thick 6061-T6 and its entire face has been milled flat. The degree increments are then machined directly into the frame. This eliminates the problem of metal chips eating away at a decal. An all position swivel insures an easy setup.

GROUND AND POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT & RIGID BEARING BLOCK!!!
This is the most critical part of a hole saw style notcher. The TN-100 utilizes a ground & polished stainless steel shaft riding in a bearing block incorporating twin needle bearings and separate grease seals for maximum rigidity and reliability. We could have used a cheaper mild steel shaft and inexpensive bronze bushings, but then you’d be replacing them every job and cussing us too.

STRONG, ACCURATE TUBE CRADLE!!!
By CNC machining the cradle out of a solid steel block the tube will be notched in the exact middle. Plasma cut and welded cradles can’t come close to the accuracy of the TN-100. The clamp mechanism rides in its own guide and has also been machined from a solid block of steel. This eliminates the problems of tube walk in notchers that use a U-strap.

Is that a 180 degree die, or a die that'll let you bend 180 degrees?

EDIT: It's a 240 degree die that will let you bend 180 degrees.

FYI, some links are still aren't working. The "Tubing Benders" link on the left goes to "tube_bender.htm", which isn't there. Looks like it's supposed to point to "tubing_benders.htm".

What about the spring-back when bending? Don't you need a die that goes several degress past 180 to get a 180 degree bend? JD2's 90 degree die is really like 110 or 120 degress from what I remember.

No matter though, that you say it'll do a 180 degree bend is what I was wondering.

Dan, sorry for the misinformation. I just edited my post but the die is a 240 degree die that will go a full 180.

The stand is an additional 80 bucks (including freight). Most people build their own though. As for the handle; i'd just use some tubing and swedge it at the end or some retangular box tubing.
