Hey Dave,
Is there any reason to have a remote res shock on a rock buggy? I would assume no.

On another note, I bent a shock shaft at EROCC that I'm gonna have to fix(I'll call ya later). Troy from the badlands hooked me up with a Fox shock. Why can't sway away do something to retain the lower coil cup like Fox
Yeah I know, you don't design em you just sell em

Nope, no reason to have a res on a rock buggy (no prolonged high speed stuff).

I can fix you shock for you or at the very least get you a ew shaft. Also, I have come up with a very simple solution to the SAW bottom coil retainer problem. What I do is put a fox shaft bumpstop at the bottom. What it does is retain the bottom coil retainer while also keeping the shock from bottoming out on the shock top cap.

PIG,

Can you post a pic of your solution for the coil popping out at the bottom on the SAW's? It's a real pain in the ass to have to reseat that thing instead of wheeling. How much extra for this solution?

Yeah, I'm interested in this too. Doubt I'll spend anymore money on my SAWs but I'd like to see. How hard is it to replace a shaft Dave?
Also, on my old improperly setup under the bigbronco, the coils rubbed the shock body pretty badly when they came unseated. Now I cant screw the adjuster rings on and off. If you don't wanna post em will you PM me a price for the outside body of the shock(the part with the threads for the adjuster) and a single shaft for a 16" travel remres shock.

Accually because the shock is a rem. res t is a little trickier. Call me and I would be glad to walk through it wioth you. Also, the coils rubbing on the shock body issue. SAW has had some problems with their sliders in their dual rate kits. They were being made of a urethane that was TOO soft. So what happened was that coils would cockeye themselves on the body and end up rubbing really bad on the shock bodies.

Here is the fix, switch to Fox sliders.

Would these work on a TJ trail buggy? Not sure how much it will weigh when I'm done with it. Will be trail only most likely.

Its a tender coil used when guys use the shock for alot of down travel so the springs dont come unbound and clank around the shock body. It is a good idea to do it this way and not with a secondary coil because of the drastic change in spring rate.
