We're running a special on two of our printed banner sizes from now 'til the end of the year just for Pirate4x4 members.

ALL 2' x 6' banners: $40 (normally $67)
ALL 3' x 8' banners: $58 (normally $90)

Those prices include shipping (standard ground).

Our banners are made with 13oz vinyl-scrim material, full-color printing with UV solvent inks, hemmed on 4 sides, grommets every 2' (approx). Gloss finish.

That price also includes basic layout/design time.

Prices are good until January 1st, 2010. Send me a PM or email (bighorn@biltritesign.com) if you want to place and order. Make sure you let me know you saw the thread here on Pirate.

I know it's hard to define "basic".

Let's take the Joint Force Racing (JFR) banner as an example. BillaVista gave me the verbiage he wanted on the banner. He also wanted their logo with the car number included. He supplied me with the logo file and I did the layout from there, including creating the background. We have several volumes of graphic elements and background fills that are production ready and we can use those with our banners. The background on the JFR banner is comprised of 2 different background fills from our collections.

The biggest thing that would not be included with a basic design/layout is stuff that will require graphics to be created from scratch or require a lot of editing. As long as you can supply all the elements or I have something in our clip art collections that will work, we will be okay.

The best answer is just to send me an email with what you want and I can let you know if it's going to be a basic design or not. I try to be as fair as I can with design.

I hope that helps clarify a little more.

I don't have a template for the banners. The sizes listed are finished sizes, 2' x 6' and 3' x 8'. If you create the art work with a 1/2" bleed on all four sides, that works best, particularly if you have a background fill that you want to print all the way to the edges.

We can use most any file type including all of the Adobe program files. Just be sure to convert any text to objects so we don't run into font substitution issues.

Vector files work the best to keep file sizes down and maintain good image quality. If it is a Photoshop or similar file, 100dpi works fine for fullsize artwork. Anything smaller than fullsize needs to be 300dpi.

One last thing; files need to be created in RGB to ensure accurate color rendition. If you send me a CMYK file, I have to convert it to RGB for production.

Ok that makes sense. Being a graphic designer, I would just design the artwork myself and send you the pdf to the correct dimensions. This would be considered "basic" correct?
