Thanks, I Ended up buying it through "Master Pull" on eBay for the same price exept it had free shipping and came with 100' instead of 85'.

You are looking at two totally different ropes. The first is Superline XD, it is stronger, more durable, and has an out braided cover over the entire rope which is why there is a knot instead of a splice.

The second is Amsteel Blue Silver, it is a basic 12 strand rope that has been around for over 20 years, similar to what many other companies also carry. That is why the price is so much different.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I was honestly confused. I think I'd still stick with the Amsteelblue, I can afford that option. I'd suffer with the steel cable before I'd spend $400+ on a rope.

Glad I could help, the Superline XD is a great rope. They will last much longer then a normal open weave 12 strand rope but they also cost much more.
