Can i use amsteel on a superwinch X9? I really want to go synthetic. I dont need anything too long or special for the 2x a year i might winch. Can you suggest something from the odds and ends you have? Also, how do you attach the synthetic to the drum on an X9? Id like the no crush thimble, rash and heat guard too. Shipped to 53711.

For the X9 I would suggest this rope:

We don't have much in the way of odds and ends right now. To attach to the winch we use either a set screw (like most WARN winches have) or the rope can be fed through the drum (as is the case with some Superwinch winches).

Yes, all of the 5/16ths and 3/8ths inch ropes come with a drum link and set screw to attach it to the winch.
