Just finished up the first Ultimate Trail Quart Crate and I must say, it is really cool. Its very lightweight, yet solid and the new latch system is so easy and strong. These latches automatically lock when you close it and can't be accidentally unhinged. I'll post some pics tomorrow and try to post some video even. THEY ARE REALLY, REALLY AWESOME.

Bolt on still. We will be making a latch version likely as well and honestly it'll probably replace the bolt version anyways. This latch is just too cool and convenient to try and make two versions.

These are awesome. I use this power steering fluid. Do you have a design that will accomodate these bottles? I'd do these with: standard quarts, 1 gallon of anitfreeze, a 1 gallon jug of gear oil.

don't see a picture. How many standard quarts do you want?

What are the dimensions of the base, the height, the diameter of the top and is the top centered or offset a particular direction? If anyone wants to know whether something will fit, get these dimensions from your particular bottle, and I'll let you know.

Also, If you have something really crazy shaped, consider transferring the fluid to a standard bottle and relabelling it.

2 5/8" diameter and 9 1/8" tall cap diameter is 1" centered.

Do you or anybody else know where I could get new unused standard bottles? I think that's the best solution.

Also I'd want 4 quart bottles and 2 gallon bottles (upright not laying down) in addition to the amsoil ones. If I could get new standard bottles I would want 6 quart bottles and 2 gallon bottles. I use a gallon for gear oil with a pump. It's much easier than using the ones they come in.

I'm working on a quart crate with 6 quarts and 1 gallon jug all in a row. I'm also working on a 2 gallon all by itself version. You could mount it and a regular 6 quart crate next to eachother or on opposite side of the vehicle or whereever.

I like the second option. More options for mounting. I'll keep watching this thread. Thanks for being responsive. I'd like to get the 20% discount so I could order the 6 quart now and wait for the 2 1 gallon if you are definalty going to do that.
