Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Jeff Chandler and I'm the owner of CRC Hydrographics.
We specialize in the application of a high quality surface finishing technology known as water transfer printing. This finish can be applied to just about any surface in hundreds of patterns including camouflage, carbon fiber, woodgrains, etc. It is widely used in the firearms and automotive industry.

I wonder if using just simple lines or grids, you could coat hi stress parts, such as axle shafts, driveshafts, that way a quick visual inspection would shown any deformation. You could see the "twist" more easily.

abrasion
scratching
etc
??

how durable is this stuff?
do you dip & done or clear coat etc.
If most are like me, I never heard of this stuff before, watched a few you tube videos today, very weird stuff, like magic, but real interested in getting some guns done.

All automotive parts get a PPG base and top coat. It's as durable as the paint on your car.
On firearms only the film is the same. We use a different primer, base and top coat. It's the same process as all your major firearms and bow manufacturers use. We also offer Cerakote coating options which we recommend on assault rifle barrels because of heat.

That housing, engine & mid plate and several other of those CF parts are going to Ramona, CA. The shipping wasn't bad at all. What kind of stuff do you have to do?
