the passenger side rear door doesn't open from the inside, even with the child safety lock off.
Has anyone fixed this before AND does anyone have a good source for salvage yards in the Orange County, California area? |

The most common problem has been a broken inside door handle, especially if children are involved. The portion that pulls the actuation rod snaps from repeated pulls. However, relube all the pivot points and spring/slider pieces, and you may be surprised.
I have the door pieces if you need them.

NavDaw, I can tell you from experience, rxinhead can you you up with the parts you need if he has them, and lucky for you he's in Cali. I'm on the other coast and he save me all kinds of aggravation since I never seem to have time off work to get to the JY, BTW, hello Russell.

I had the same problem. I took off the door panel, and the door handle was broke. I went to a salvage yard and found a door handle. I installed it and it still didn't work. So I sprayed it with WD-40 and it works perfect now. My rear driver side door didn't work either and I sprayed it and it works like new. I know I'm late with this reply but hope it helps.
