Exclamation Cargo Door Interior Switch Half Working

On my 1991 Montero LS 4x4, the cargo door(above rear bumper)is half working. The unlock works but not the lock. I might just have to take the dash aprat and investigate. Any one else have this problem?

Clean and lube the plunger mechanism inside the rear door, use contact cleaner inside the door lock switch.

well i would verify that it is sending a pulse to unlock it first. try hitting on the lock while someone pushes the button maybe. just a suggestion before you tear it all apart.
