2.4 swap
going to help a friend in this swap,engine were looking at junkyard is from a montero sport 02 2.4 16v,problem is oil pan sump need to be in the back so it dont hit the differential,i believe a truck 2.4 4x4 pan should fit and be rear sump but not sure? any help,any other oil pan?

No, the sports are based on the pickup and all the pickups are front sump. the 2.4 pan can be clearanced to fit though or you can make a spacer plate like i did to raise the engine.
Other options are getting the Pajero oil pan from overseas.

This build uses a custom oil pan.
