Thank you.
The only miles on that setup were from rolling in and out of the garage.

I wheel with a buddy that has stacked heims on his xterra, several broken 44 axles- no broken steering.

well the OP made it look like the under side shots of that thing were his, in fact when they were yours. NO there are no fixes being shown to that steering setup here in this thread (other than the ram being on there and the tire blocking the view) because in fact those pictures are of your junk in a different build. the cross posting got me mixed up.

What, were your ears ringing?

Looks good.

EDIT: Just noticed that your new 01 is behind the 97. The 01 looks like a minivan compared to the sas'ed 97!

Alpha: Tried to PM you, but it seems your box is full. Wondering if you were planning on ever making good with LandRaider on the axles?

Maybe this year!? Probably not, unless you start helping.

I've decided to change out the steering box, got anything laying around I might benefit from?

So crawlerxj pm'd me a couple questions about axle swapping and i asked him to post some pics of his project. He said he didn't know how so I said I would post if he emailed them to me, then I was like

Good to see this Sport still lives. He's having braking issues, and I mentioned the dodge 1/2 ton master and booster bolt in, what years will fit? Do they work well with disc rears?

Damn! Looks good!!

What brakes are you running? The factory master cylinder is set up for dual piston front calipers and single piston rear calipers, if you're running disc/drum factory brakes I would think you'd be fine. But the master could have gone dry/bad from sitting for so many years with the brakes unhooked.

Glad to see someone finishing it up. I wound up putting the 37's on my 96 SR

I've been more focused on this project:
