T-Case gears
Where can i get T-case gears here in America? i really do not want to send money to AUS altho i am feeling that i will have to.
Has anyone ever delt with that guy in Aus? quick shipping? Good Product? 1989 Mits Montero. |

I haven't personally but know several owners who have. My understanding is the source in Australia is a good one and the owner is a stand up guy. Not a bad investment in gears.
As for gears in the US? Good luck finding someone with the equipment, know how & willingness to do a set of short run gears for a limited market off road vehicle like the Montero. Last edited by Off-Roader; 12-22-2009 at 09:43 PM. |

Go with the aussie gears or an Atlas
then there's always dana 300, dana 20, NV241, NP231. Your truck will basically accept anything that a jeep will but you'll need to modify your speedo and driveshafts. Just remember Monteros are heavier than jeeps so don't use the jeep driveshafts and NP231's are lighter duty than your Monty t-case

Gears from OZ are it for the mitsu t-case. The guy there who makes them is well known in the circles there. Many here (US) have bought from him. IIRC, the first set went into a US truck...(?)
