what packages came with this combo...it has the limited slip diff in the rear does that mean it also has the 4.88s?

The only package I know of that came on the Gen 1 trucks (I am presuming your talking Gen 1) with 4.88s is the high altitude package. An LSD doesn't denote 4.88s, it denotes the off-road package which is the rear LSD, Drivers Suspension Seat, and Headlight Washers. There are a LOT of trucks with the regular 4.62s and LSDs. 2 of my trucks have this setup. The 3rd is the rare unicorn truck with 4.88s and the high altitude package (engine block heater etc). There should be 2 plates in the engine bay that will say what gears the truck has, one on the metal between the radiator and the grille, and one on the firewall.

I honestly don't know how many trucks there are with the High Altitude Package but the number is small. Probably close to the chance of buying a truck off someone that has installed the 5.29s.
