Picked up a 91 Montero--lift and tire questions

Just added a 91 Montero LS LWB 3.0L to the stable (for $300 no less, couldn't walk away). It runs great, needs u-joints, general maintenance, and tires.

So, my question(s): I have a set of cooper MT 35x12.50s sitting around already on rims that I would like to try to use. They actually measure closer to 34" tall, are a little narrower because they are on 8" wide rims, and not terribly heavy like a TSL or something. What would I need to do to get those to fit? Will a 2" suspension and 2" body lift get me there? Can the IFS handle that size tire?

I plan to do a 2" suspension lift whether I run those tires or sell them and step down to 33s. I will crank the torsion bars in the front, and plan to add some 2nd generation springs for the rear lift. Are there any specific gen2 Montero springs that I should be looking for, or are they all created equally?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Suggested is 3in BL for extra clearence, gen 2 springs n gen 1 lwbs are the same I think, outside of that watch your idler arm, the rest will laugh at those 35s.......

I'd go 2" Body and 2" coil spacers W/ t-bar crank, and as posted above it'll handle 35's just fine but get lifetime warranty idler
