I was told I have to run a V6 front housing to use my 87 Starion LSD.
Has anyone here tried to put into the 4 Banger housing? Is it to wide?gears wont fit? I Just wanna soild answer before I make the big plunge in this front end. Also if I do need the V6 diff do you use the gears from the V6 or 4CYL?

OK thanks, Now to find a housing. So I use the same gears for my 4cyl right?

just weld it instead unless you can find both, cheap

No your going from a 7.25 inch ring gear to a housing built for an 8inch...... no chance of that working

I have the 87 LSD in my shop ready to go i the Hole, So I will need the gears as well no problem I think I have one lined up down in La will see. I thought about just doing the lincon locker but I would much rather do the LSD because I have it. Also I have Manual hubs already.

So its been a while but I have good news! I have found a 8" housing for my LSD cant wait to get it all put in. now I will be true 4wheel drive.
