Looking to buy!!

I'm looking at getting a monty after 2 years of debates with the wife. I won this one, at least she lets me believe that. I'm looking at gen 2.5's. I love the look they have but am finding aftermarket support hard to come by. Any opinions on gen 2 vs 2.5? Which is better or worse? I've seen more gen2's for sale as well as ome lifts and snorkels. Help!!!

Mod's you can pretty much get everything you need but there isn't a million companies making a bunch of cheap ass shit and selling it for a premium price like for the jeeps. Aftermarket; Lockers, Gears, Armor, Snorkels, Lifts Available! What else do you need?
Gen 2 vs 2.5, I own both and i like my 2.5 better in the long run because it doesn't have body cladding and it has more room for big tires so i don't need to run as much lift. The Gen 2 with the DOHC is much more powerfull and they come with slightly lower diffs which is cool but 4.90's are cheap so i don't worry about the Gen 2.5 having 4.27's instead of 4.63's. All in all they are the same truck but the one is much faster and the other has better fenders for big rubber.

Thanks for the reply guy's. I think I will go with the gen2.5 or ,NL as it is called across the pond. I'm looking at doing an expedition setup. Small lift, 305/70/16's, snorkel, and some armor. Keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal on one.

GnR, ouch. I don't do the crack pipe. All I was saying is Toasty answered the dudes question about the Gen 2 and the Gen 2.5. i love my 3 Gen 1's. right now have 2 of the 2.6's, the other is getting a 5.7. One of the 2.6's is getting a 3.5 from one of the poofy 4-doors to help push the 35's. But the guy didn't ask aboutr a Gen 1. Wait let me reread his again........alright, read it again, no mention of Gen 1. Logan, I will say, body lifts and snorkels can be had for the Gen 1, if that is an issue on getting one.
