got mine today, extremely well packed.. I dont think a 20ft fall would have hurt anything.

I was on lunch so all I did was get it out and stare at it, but at first glance its looks so nice I wonder if its worthy if only being under the jeep and not seen. Maybe I will put a clear cutout in the floor to showcase it in all it's blingy-ness

man, where was this 3 years ago??! my 231/205 is great and this would help clean up the drivetrain for sure. Nice lookin kit Duffy, I was just thinking the other day that something like this would sell!

I have, pretty straightforward. I didn't have a press so I used a vice to press the ring gear in. Press would have been a lot nicer, but it worked. I also had to try a couple different shifter configurations to get it right, but all in all not difficult at all. The worst part was cutting the old ring gear out of the aluminum housing.

Some of the cheapest ones are:

Spline count
21 spline Jeep 231
23 spline Jeep 231 , Dodge 231 or 241
27 spline GM 231 or 241
31 spline Ford 271 or 273
32 spline GM 241
Will a 208 work as a donor for this? Yes, I'm aware of the ratio difference, 2.72 for the 241 vs. 2.61 for the 208. I'm just having trouble finding a reasonably priced 32 spline 241 for a donor.

Already have the Dana 300 sitting on the work bench.

no a 208 does not use the same gear setup as the 231 /241 ETC.

the 241 32 spline cases can be tricky to find. you can pick up a 231 chevy case from a s10 or s15 dirt cheap and get a new 32 spline input for about $125.

Got mine on Saturday. Been about 3 weeks since I had ordered mine before I got it. Duffy's got a small operation, so sometimes it takes a little longer than usual. I talked to him last Monday or Tuesday, and he said he had been having issues with his hardware supplier, but hopefully everything was good to go at that point.

BTW, it was well worth the wait.

Hey Duffy, I have a GM 241 from a 4l60e and I'm putting a Ford 31 spline 205 behind it. Let me know what your best setup would be... ready to order

the new billet box would work great for you, just pull the gears out of the 241 and press the ring gear in and its a bolt up to your ford 205.

there good in stock and I`m shipping orders monday.

thanks
