Could I get a quote for a 32 spline input BlackBox-i to D300 and TH400 to D300 adapter (BA-400-SAL3) shipped to 80122 please? Also, does your triple stick shifter work with a D300 and if so a quote on that as well?

Quote for a blackbox-i between a 4l60E and a dana 300 to 84065? Also, price on the triple shifter?
Any other adapters needed for this setup? ...do you offer any type of VSS integration? Thanks! |

hi mate, glad to see your product is selling well.
Just a quick question. On your web page you have 2 versions, one called blackbox integrated. I note it is smaller in size. Why wouldnt you use that one instead of the longer one, thus saving some lenght ?? cheers |

Most guys running the BlackBox to a transfer case that cant be integrated are running full size trucks where driveline length is not an issue and the BlackBox usually helps these guys with front driveshaft angles. If you are worried about length run a BlackBox-i/D300, Atlas, or Bronco D20 Kris |

Kris, thanks again.
The reason i ask is that i have a non standard application in mind but could be limited by space, hence my interest in the smaller unit. I think the larger unit might be a tad too long. There is a dirty big crossmember in the way. I want to run the unit in the Mitsubishi Pajero Gen 2 circa late 90's. The Pajero of that era has the Aisin AW 30-43LE automatic transmission , similar to what some jeeps ran as well. The tranny has an output shaft with 23 splines mated to the transfer case. One clever guy from the US has actually made a doubler using 2 NP231's mated together & mounted to the transmission with a custom adaptor. He had a few hassles with speedo as the VSs for the Paj comes of the transfer case. Custom drive shafts were needed as well. I want to keep the pajero case as it allows the vehicle to be used 4x4 fulltime & can be shifted to 4x4 at speeds up to 100kph. I run the Paj in 4x4 mode all the time, even on the highway. it has a centre diff in the case that allows this. Other modes are 4x4 with locked centre diff & 4x4 Low with locked centre. The Paj case has a low of only 1.90 so low is around 25:1 , not very good I am sure you will say, but actually good in some applications. There are 3.14 reduction gears made in Aus & I have a set fitted. This brings the low down to 40.1, a bit more useable. Your unit would give me 113.1 , way more than I want so i would probably take out the 3.15s & put the 1.90 back in, giving me 68.1. I am not into rock crawling but do use the vehicle extensively around my property. I find the current reduction gears not low enough (when I need deep gearing) although they are a big improvement over standard. With your unit I could have standard low 25.1 and deep low 68.1 which would be ideal. Anyway now that you know my application, i need to know whats possible. Can the smaller unit be fitted with an output shaft of 23 splines similar to that of the larger unit?? I would hope to get 2 adaptors made up here locally that will allow your unit to be put in between the tranny & the existing transfere case. Sorry about the long post, & I do appreciate your time, cheers. |
