Looks like the planetary box can be flipped on most of these? Or are individuals making mods to make that happen?

Either case I need a 241/205 (ford driver drop)... are these in stock?

to flip a 241 you would need to enlarge two of the bolt holes , yes the 241 kits are good in stock.

Hey Dufffy!...I want to ad a doubler to my current set up....I'm running a 700r4 with an advanced adapters D300 kit to pass side, and want to go to a drivers side set up, so I will have to flip my 300, and i currently have a Northwest Fab cable twinstick as well...which is a better way to go, with a 231 or a 241 ....Thanks Doug

This is the first time I've ever posted. Looking at this thread got me interested again on a doubler setup. I have a xj, automtic with the 4.0 and np231. I also have a divorced 205 from a previous project, any chance i could mate these two together. Thinkin short shaft and put together with a ujoint? thanks for any suggestions.

I think the best way to go in a XJ is just use the 231 you have in there for a crawlbox and put a D300 on the back.

can your kit do drive drop 241 chev case to a chev T350 style 205?

Duffy, thanks for the input, just thought that maybe I could use your kit and that a yoke could be fitted as an output. That way I could have a short crawler box to mate the 205 with. Parts are hard to find here(P.R.) and getting a 300 is a loongshot. The 205 was supposed to be mated to another truck but it was totalled just shortly after I managed to finally find the 205. It's a shame to see my 205 just sitting there doing nothing.

I have a similar question. I have a passenger drop NP241C. will the 241 kit work with this case of do I need to find a driver drop case to put a Dana 300 behind it?

Can an electric shift 233 be converted to manual for use with this kit?

For reference I have a 4l60e with a 233c and I would like to double it to a dana 300.

it looks like the 233C shifter is in the front half of the case, so I don`t see why it would not work.
