I'm working on a 93 LT-4WD king quad. It was running great parked it for about three weeks and now runs like crap. Starts up and idles just fine and you can take off just fine but by the time you hit half throttle it falls flat on its face. I am at a complete loss on it. I replace the diaphragm on it about 3 weeks before I parked it and was running great prior to sitting for 3 weeks.
Any ideas?

Sounds like when I broke the needle on my polaris..

This ain't to old so ill go ahead and reply. Did you figure it out? I'd bet a six pack its that rubber diaphram on the top of the carburator that comes out with them 4 screws on top. I bet it has a crack in the rubber. I had yamaha 350 that acted the exact same. Never had one break on my 250 Suzuki though.

Oh I'm jelous. Man I want one of this old king quads.

Thanks for the responses. I did figure out what was wrong with it finally. That was my guess on the rubber diaphram but i had just replaced and it looked like it was streched but its fine. The main jet had a hair line crack in it. Runs like a champ again. Getting new tires on it today

dam, guess I lost a six pack... what tires are you getting? I got mud bugs on my 2wd and love em.
