200X in the dunes
I'm heading down Friday to Glamis and I'm taking my 200X. Now I know it's no Banshee or CR500 but its what I got. It runs good and is stock except for the paddles. I'm a little concerned about my gearing though. When I switched from the original baloon tires to the shorter Holeshots it's overall gearing is a hell of a lot lower. With the stock tires 5th gear was useless but now 5th gear feels like 4th used to and it has a much lower top speed. This is my first trip to the dunes and I'm not sure if this overall gearing is going to work well. Has anyone ever gone duning in a stock 200X with short paddles that can recommend if I need to gear up before the weekend? Thanks
Travis

The 200 was the first bike I ever rode in the dunes, that was when they were popular. Gearing it down will actually help in the dunes because running in the sand seems to weigh ur bike down the lower gears will help u stay on top a little better...
