One of my dad's friends has a Honda CB750 that I think I want. It has been sitting in a shed for 22 years (seriously). I only had a little time to check it over, but here is what I observed: it is clean, it doesn't have many miles, i think less than 20,000, it is not seized, two of the four pipes have holes in the tops oof them at the back (I would most likely change out this setup to a 4 into 1 single pipe) it has a wind jammer fairing (I would remove this till I get tired of eating bugs), it has saddle bags on the back (I would remove these), it will need new rubber, the carbs will most certainly need rebuilt

Seeing how it is a family friends bike I would be able to work on it, get it running before paying for it.

How much is this bike worth in your estemed opinions.
This is a family friend and I don't want to screw him.
Is this a good 1st street bike? I have 2 dirt bikes a 250 dt and a 500 Cagiva, so I am not new to bikes or working on them.

I had a '76 CB750F Super Sport. I bought it for $500. Rode it for a year or two, did some minor work on it, and sold it to a friend for $800...it was running like a top and had about 45K on it. Any help?
