Took the psycho to a bike night thingy last night downtown Houston. It's a fun "urban assault" weapon.

That is by far the worst 'Coffee and cars' parking lot I've ever seen

Bike looks good though!

It was the first time I went to this location, so I wasn't familiar with the layout. It was a total traffic jam in the parking lot and my fingers were nub from the ride, so I ditched it where I found space.

Did a track day at cota back in February. It was a total wet nasty day. so, I decided to run the Hyper all day. turned out to be a very good day considering the conditions.

And since Nicky Hayden passed, I have a small tribute on the tail for him.

This vid of him on a Hyper is completely bad ass.

Ever figure out the screen? Honestly it sounds like blank EEPROM to me, and the driver doesn't know what the heck to display

That's my understanding, it's a "chip" or eeprom that's the problem. The thing is, whatever part number that's on the chip to try to cross reference, leads to nothing.

Ducati is up to revision number 3 now for this cluster

Yep. The crap part about that is you're screwed ubless you can get a programmed chip. Any chance you can find a busted screen with good EEPROM and swap the display?

I have been looking, but mostly back burnered at the moment. I do have a guy I met at motogp in Austin that has the same Hyper and his cluster failed differently. He replaced his and kept the old one, which he said I could have. I just need to contact him and get it. Maybe I can make one good one out of the two.
