what is a 87 Honda 250-x,, and a 1990 Suzuki LT 230 ,worth??

I'm looking at buying these quads,, they are going to be just for cruising around our ppty,, and playing at the local river,, soo, I'm not looking for extreme horsepower,and all the high tech goodies the new ones have,, I have been out of the quad scene for 10 years,, last quads we owned were a BUILT 1986 TRX 250r,, and a mild built 88 TRX250 x ..sold them to get back into the wheelin scene,, but we kind of miss bombing around on quads !!

I found these 2 quads for sale;
1st one: 1987 Honda TRX 250x,,stock, runs great,plastics are in great shape,gray/red,, and tires are also in good shape.. $1000.00

2nd one: 1990 Suzuki LT 230 Quadsport,,(but hasnt been started in 2 years), but suposedly runs, the plastic is in very bad shape, needs front tires,,rear tires are new, but flat, and handlebars are broken..$800.00
are these good deals nowadays,,, ??????????????

If they are in CA that's about as great a deal as you can get. I'd check them out really good though. Check the bearings, the frame for any cracks and for hodge podge wiring. Also plastics can be on the expensive side but it is only cosmetic. Being a former quad owner and rider I'm sure you'll know if they check out OK or not.
