Seems like everyone here rides utility quads. Does anyone ride Sport quads? I just bout an 04 Kawasaki KFX400. I was just looking for some more info on it. Does anyone else ride that or a Z400 Suzuki?

The new KFX700 quads are automatics right? Is your 400 an auto and if it is how has it held up? The only other auto sport quads I have seen are Polaris Sports and Scramblers which I know have had problems. I still like to select my gears manualy.

Yeah, the 700s are auto's. Mine is full manual. Clutch and all. It's controls are just like a motorcycle. The only difference is the thumb throttle vs the twist on a bike. From what I have heard, the auto trans in the 700 is a great trannie!

350x
I have ridden Warriors, 300EX, and 400EX. But recently have digressed to a 1985 350X 3-wheeler that will hang with the 400EX's and is a fight to keep the front wheel grounded. It will not out handle them, but for $900 bucks who needs handling.

I've got an '03 400EX and the wife has an '03 250EX (she can't get the throttle/clutch/gearshift down yet). The auto has given her no problems and she seems to like the reverse too! LOL!

I have a TRX450R with cam, and LTE Racing exaust!
The wife has a TRX400EX with a LTE Racing exaust, and a 426cc/ 11.5:1 piston. We both love to ride. Mainly hitting the dunes anymore, the wife is still recovering from a back injury. That didn't stop her from putting the 450R upside down on top of her! |
