'07 Super Enduro 950 R
2-1 exhaust conversion, 2 gallon adv tank, Scotts Dampner, Black Dog skidplate/sidestand relocator, HDB handguards/mirrors/signals, heated grips, geared down a bit. ![]() Not bad for intermediate single tracks, a blast on 4wd roads, pretty good bike to get places. Have done a 400 mile trip on it (pictured, after setting up camp) including cross a bunch of exhaust deep creeks.

Loving all the motards on here lately!
Quote:
------------------------------- Don't think I've posted pics of the bike in SM trim since I got the new graphics on. Aside from the front fender and couple things I want to paint, colour match and rebuild this winter, I like the look in SM trim. No chain in this pic, I was testing length I needed to cut. Also, new step seat on the way. ![]() 20120524-IMG_4330-2_1600x1067 by sniper_101, on Flickr ![]() 20120524-IMG_4321_1600x1067 by sniper_101, on Flickr ![]() 20120524-IMG_4314-2_1600x1067 by sniper_101, on Flickr ![]() 20120603-IMG_4486-2-rs by sniper_101, on Flickr

Should consider an Acerbis Universal SM fender, they look great on just about anything. I need to hack one up and rig a mount for my headlight to make one work on my bike. [/QOUTE] That front fender is a Acerbis Kawi SM fender. Still didnt care for the look of it so took to cutting. Last edited by EricT; 08-04-2012 at 06:39 PM. |

Yep ,I'm in love with this bike. I had a 2002 R1, so it's really not a comparison. But I will say, I have just as much. if not more, fun on this bike then I did on the R1.

Mine the day I brought it home. My MX turned woods bike, a 06 KX450F got it used in good shape for what I felt like was a deal. Besides taking off the bullshit numbers I haven't done much to it. Added a works connection skid plate that I caught on sell, a FMF powerbomb header when mine split all to hell in a wreck and a new rear fender from a loop out, and need to get some better bark busters.

Here is my 2011 KX450F that I picked up "new" a couple of months ago, it was the shop owner's personal demo:
![]() I change the grips and graphics (the old graphics were torn). This is the first dirt bike I have been on in almost fifteen years. It sure is fast and it sure hurts when you hit the ground. More importantly, here is my 4yr old son riding his 2003 XR50 for the first time ever today: ![]() He was a little nervous at first, but didn't want to stop after he got comfortable.

i've seem to have more enemies since i bought that bike
i tell you, i was expecting the bike to be a turd then get on the pipe and i'd loop it...to be honest, it's stock setting is so tame, it feels like an electric motor, so smooth |
