Question Help Finding a Harley Part

I have a 96 Road King with 99 fuel injection on it. both of the fuel injection lines are leaking at the fitting that goes into the tank. Harley cant find them in the system for the whole USA, and J & P Cycles are back ordered for at least one month. I am new to the Harley world so I am not sure what websites to start looking for.
Here is a link to what I am looking for.
http://www.jpcycles.com/ProductDetai...400-630&cs=All

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

first off fawk the dealership, the only thing worth while at the dealership is the mechs, and those are on a case by case deal. Check the following online providers. JP, Jerricho cycles, grab an american bagger magaizine and check for outlet parts places.

here are a couple forums( note just like priate people spew shit check your facts):

Is it a plastic piece stock?

I broke that fitting on my springer, and the dealer wanted $50.00 for this whole assembly still plastic.

I cut the fuel line, pushed it over what was left of the tube, reinstalled the same clamp, and ride! Been a couple years like that.

Dealer sux!

I'll take them off and see what I can have done locally. There is a private shop that says he can get them in a week.

I am with ya on the dealer, the dudes are pricks. Funny how it is that you arent supposed to ask servicing questions. And "are you sure you dont want us to install it for $110 an hour" I was pretty disappointed by the lack of friendly help.
JP is back ordered for a month or more on them.

Have you taken it apart and looked for problems yet?

Must be the CA dealers that suck, or maybe the attitude when you enter. I can tell you if you came to the shop I work at, that wouldn't be the problem, but since 100% of our employees ride, not just work there, different attitude. Most of the parts guys are also techs so know how to help you figure out the part/parts you need to fix it yourself.

Good luck, hope you can get it local, if not, let me know. Did the dealer do a dealer search and also check the factory OBS list?

If you can't find anything local, Royal Brass in San Jose should be able to do something for you.

Lucky you... I guess? Mine's EFI and plastic. I guess they just get cheaper building them the newer they get.

Same exact piece but my return line is in a different spot. The braided looks much nicer then the crap thats on mine.

well there is 2 part numbers. an old one and a new one. the old ones can be found, but the new ones are on country wide back order. I will wait a week for the local guy to see if he comes thru.
