Post Ducati Monster

a good bud of mine has been kicking around the idea a buyind a new bike to get around the city so I suggested that we go look yesterday and low and behold I drive him down to the Ducati dealership and after about 30 minutes of standing around a 750 he whips out his credit card and says "lets do it". the trick is he doesn't know how to ride so guess who gets to ride it home? plus he wants me come by this morning to show him a few pointers and then to take it out for a long ride so I can help w/the break-in period so I'm off for a little ride up the coast to Point Reyes up Hwy 1... what are friends for after all.

i sure wouldn't buy a ducati for getting around town in, but hey he wants to "get around" that fast more power to him. Funny how first timers nowadays really take the bull buy the horns with a big bike like that. What ever happened to starting out small and LEARNING something.
