Post Vermont info

I know a while ago someone was asking about street licsening a dirt bike in Vermont, well I found there web site and it looks like they just want your $$ and will put a plate on "anything"

Oh yeah, i think the only catch is that is has to have a battery operated electrical system. No magneto driven lights. (I think)
You also need DOT legal tires.
You do need a horn, but a hand squeeze horn (AKA "ooh-gah") IS legal. No kidding.

I love this place.

DOES have a lift law,though.

It looks like you don't need anything <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

There is no lamp (light) inspection and the whole thing can be done through the mail (it appeairs). The only inspection that needs to be done is a VIN check <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">


You dont even HAVE to live in that state <IMG SRC="smilies/glasses.gif" border="0">

I know you can REGISTER anything, but to be legal, I am pretty sure that you need to get the bike inspected. I will look into it though.
