I might be down for that. That would give me like 5 months to train.

I don't exactly have a XC bike... but if it doesn't get in the way of my school schedule, maybe I'll come out if you guys need a person.

Im In

Leonel,

I am game. I haven't raced in over 2 years, but that is good because I will be rabid as hell and ready to rip it up. I need to drop about 15 lbs first, but that shouldn't be a problem. I have a neighbor who is a solid rider who also might be interested if you need another.

One more thing

oh yea,

When we get to the race, we all have to drive our rigs. Then we will park at the campsite with our trucks wheelstanding on each other. People will be freakin' out. That will be tight. The outlaws of MTB racing. We can have a team trailer with 44" boggers!

Kurt.

unless you're all members of the Pirates of the Rubicon 4 wheel drive club (POR), you might want to change it to PBB or you're asking for trouble.... also I would talk to Lance and the Pirates first about a PBB team (unless you already have) since they own the domain

If they goes for it, they might even be able to get you some sponsors or something....

just my $.015

I figured we get the Team together and come up with a game plan before we talked to Lance and prospective sponsors, POR jerseys and bibs with the skull will be really nice! i might just get a hot shower installed in the truck before the race!

HELL YEAAHHH Skeggs is the best in the bay area hands down. And it is fairly centrally located in San Mateo area.

I vote Skeggs.

The headlands is a better workout as there is a lot more climbing and you can make the ride as long as you want but Skeggs will work for our first team ride .
Everyone OK with this?

There is plently of climbing at Skeggs. We can park at the end of Porcha trail and start out with a climb to the top

Hardtailz

Leonel,

I know you are a mountain goat and all, but I am sure you will find that Skeggs has more than enough climbing than any hardtail, skinny tire, singlespeed, weenie can handle

How about new years day at 10AM? This should give everyone enough time to wake up and recover from the night before.
