man it was wet, freakin streams running down the trail - how much did it rain yesterday? (i was in stockton at a wedding all day)

China Camp is my regular stomping grounds. It rained a shitload fri. sat. at least a few inches. Lots of rain. China camp gets really sloppy when its like that but mostly dries out fast.

Hey Parsley,do you know Tim Brenan?He works at Odessey in Sausalito and i think he also lives near China Camp

nope. what is Odessey?

I used to live like 10 min. from the ranger kiosk by bike. Rode at China Camp every day. now its more like 25-30 min. from my house by bike. Still pretty close to great, fast xc riding but I miss just being like right there every day. I rode so much more then because it was so damn easy. China Camp is a single speed heaven

Yeah, if you do several laps you can get a decent work out.

several "laps" are really fun

but I shy away from the workout aspect. Once I figured out what jersey pockets were for and my knees started hurting I figured I'm only into it for the fun. Wouldn't give it up for the world though.
